5 Social Media Content Ideas For Realtors
Working with Realtors have made me admire and respect their fast-pace work ethic. I’ve seen realtors struggle with their busy schedules to post about a new home on the market, last minute open houses, or a quick update about a current home. I don’t blame them – they already have a million other thing to worry about. However, social media is a frontline for communication between them and their clients, so information needs to be updated ASAP.
Seeing this need for quick content, I developed a template that Realtors can purchase (sliding scale) below that you can use to easily customize with your own photos and text into pre-made graphics.
However, if you’re just looking for easy content ideas instead, I wrote out 5 below!
1) Testimonials
Instead of talking about how great you are, let your clients speak for you! Sharing positive testimonials from clients you have worked with will build trust between you and potential new clients. Screenshot a positive review you have received on Google, Facebook, or even in a text and share it across your social media platforms!
2) Market Updates
Turn your social media into a resource for potential clients. The more information you can provide, the more you will position yourself as an industry leader. Providing endless information will encourage followers to keep returning to your page and will show potential customers your real estate knowledge, thus gaining trust.
3) Tips for Buyer/Sellers
As stated above, providing free tips and information on your social media page is a great way to create a relationship between you and your followers. Get specific about the tips you share. For example, share a tip about the benefits of home staging for people looking to sell their home. Tips like these might encourage a follower to reach out and ask for more information!
4) Introduce Yourself
There’s no shame in talking about yourself! With so many Realtors out there, you need to convince potential clients why they should work with you. Occasionally share little “about me” posts. Be transparent, be authentic, and have fun with these!
5) Share Updates
Sharing updates like an offer being accepted is a great way to show your followers how proactive you are! Keeping your followers in the loop will help with social media consistency and will prove your success rate.
